Silent OPML Editor Testing

The OPML Editor currently runs on Macintosh and Windows. I rarely work on a Mac or Win machine these days, but recently tried the Editor in Wine on Linux. It was not a smooth ride, so OpmlPress on WordPress testing falls silent.

It’s been pretty quiet here anyway, since the OPML Editor Community Server (blogs) at opml.org has not been in a conversational mood for quite some time.

OPML Editor Code Updates – Sept 05, 2009

Found new OPML Editor bits for byte-ing. All updated. WordPress Tool works. NewsRiver works. River2 works. Guess I cannot go all rssCloud-y because of firewall. BlogWriter works on my end. No server churning on the other end. Cheers!

River2, “Share Feed” button is nice. ~ Heh, “Sorry man, it’s not implemented yet. Still diggin! :-)”

Posting to Identi.ca via opml.root bundled code works too. !

OPML Editor Code Updates

Checking in after recent OPML Editor code updates. The WordPress Tool is fine.

There is still an issue with Blog Writer. “Upload: blog\2009\7\17.opml. Error Can’t get the address of “methodResponse” because the table doesn’t have an object with that name.”

Opml Editor, instantOutline Tool Code Updates

Retrieved the latest OPML Editor code updates via File, Update Opml.root …

Re-installed the instantOutline Tool via Misc, Tool Catalog. Progress. New pop-up error “Cannot find feed, etc”. Assuming it is related to lack of FF room membership. Deleted the instantOutline Tool. Restarted OPML Editor.

The pevious left over error popup is no more (Can’t find a sub-table named …Tools, instantOutline.root). Bug stomp. May the new source be with you!

Update: 2/5/09; 3:17:31 PM – Re-installed the instantOutline Tool. Joined the new room at FFeed. Changed to the new instantOutline room, Bull’s Shed. Room members were auto added to the Buddies panel. Updated My Outline. I am in. Very nice.
