Testing a fresh installation of the OPML Editor w/latest updates as of Nov. 30, 2008.
Selected the Misc tab, Tools Catalog for latest available Tools. Installed the WordPress Tool. See: WordPress in the OPML Editor
WordPress Tool Preferences: After WP Tool install finished, the ‘General Preferences’ window auto-opened instead of the WordPress Preferences window. Had to close/restart the Editor. Then select Tools, WordPress, Preferences to get the correct preference page. Proceeded to setup WordPress prefs.
Selected Tools tab, WordPress, Open Workspace to start this post. Selected New Post, was asked for post title and provided one.
Selected Tools tab, WordPress, Get Categories to retrieve my WordPress category list. With cursor pointing on the post title, right-clicked to select the post category, selected it. Like *Butter.
Editing this wordpress post for mistypes or reordering thoughts is so easy. Make edits, then save. Highlight and move paragraphs up/down via the Outliner tab, Ctrl+U or Ctrl+D, then save.
Remembering how much I like the way the OPML Editor feels.
